Two SCC players have been named Region 9 Players Of The Week in consecutive weeks. 

For the week of March 30th through April 5th,  Gabe Dalton,  was recognized. He put together an incredible stretch at the plate In just 13 at-bats, Dalton posted a scorching .692 batting average, consistently finding ways to drive the ball and produce runs. He tallied two doubles and blasted two home runs, powering his offense while accounting for five runs scored and an impressive 10 RBIs. Even more notable was his discipline at the plate, striking out only three times during the span.


For the week of April 6th through April 12th,  Van Hanneberg was recognized as the Pitcher/Player of the week. He turned in a strong outing on the mound, leading his team to victory with a steady and composed performance. The right-hander pitched seven innings, allowing just one earned run while working through nine hits. Hanneberg stayed in control throughout, collecting key outs at critical moments and finishing with 12 outs recorded to help secure the win. Despite traffic on the bases, he limited damage and kept the opposition from stringing together big innings.
