The Southeast CC Women's basketball team outlasted Moberly Area CC 52 to 51 at the Lincoln Campus Gym on Tuesday night. This game was dominated by defense from both teams. The Bobcats were held to just 5 points in the second quarter. They hung in during the second half to secure the win. Tatym Dempcy led the way with 12 points and 8 rebounds. She was saddled with four fouls during the fourth quarter, but smartly remained eligible before fouling out late in the contest. Carys Dawson came off the bench to score 11 points and Aleziah Anderson followed up with 10 points. SCC improves to 2 and 5 on the season with a tough road stretch in front of them. The Bobcats will play a pair of games in Casper, Wyoming, then travel to Norfolk, Nebraska, then back out to Torrington, Wyoming for their next four games.
