Personal Bio
I am 28 years old, am married to Rebekah Kraeger. We have three children, Rosemary, Rory, and Raey. I grew up in Weeping Water Nebraska were I attended high school. I studied agricultural education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Post graduation I taught Agricultural Education and coached wrestling at Elwood Public Schools. Following four years to teaching I decided to take a break from educating and pursue a “full-time” rodeo career.

Career Achievements
In college I was reserve steer wrestling champion in the Great Plains region in 2016, and finished in the top 10 at the CNFR that year. In 2017 I won the steer wrestling title along with the all-around title for the region. At the CNFR I finished as the reserve national champion.

I purchased my PRCA card in 2016 since then I have competed in the steer wrestling across the nation. I have won and placed at many PRCA rodeos throughout the Midwest, and have finished in the top 50 in the world three times thus far. I claim the Badland Circuit of the PRCA for which I have qualified for their finals each of the last five years.

Goals for SCC
My goal for Southeast’s rodeo program is to develop champions in and out of the arena. In the arena the expectation is to win, in order to do so we must create a culture. Creating a culture requires many grueling hours in the practice pen and gym dedicated to perfecting our craft. Out of the arena our expectation needs to rely on being humble and treating other with the respect we expect other to treat us with. Along with college rodeo comes college, our goal is for every SCC rodeo athlete to complete the necessary course work to complete their degree by the end of their tenure at Southeast Community College.
