SCC Head Men's Basketball coach Joel Wooton is heading into his final season with the Bobcats. After 21 years at the school, Wooton will hand the program off to Ben Cruickshank at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season. Cruickshank is a Norris, NE native and played two seasons at SCC, he was part of an NJCAA National Tournament team in 2008. He's had several successful coaching stops along the way. In his last stop, he rebuilt the Colorado Northwestern CC program. The Spartans recorded some impressive statistical benchmarks and scored several marquee wins last year.
