In the first home action after the holiday break, the Bobcat women's basketball team secured an 81 to 71 win on Tuesday evening. It was a big third quarter for SCC that made the difference. Southeast outscored the Bronco's 36 to 8 coming out of the halftime locker room. Southeast was led by Fr.
Jessica Wertenberger's double-double, 19 points and 10 rebounds. Fr.
Madelyn Lubischer contributed 16 points, Soph.
Isabella Minati had 11 points and Fr.
Britney Klein added 10 points of the bench. The Bobcats improve to 7 and 11 on the season with the win. They'll host the Reivers of Iowa Western CC on Saturday. Tip time is set for 1pm.
