Biography

Freshman Mari Cortez comes to the Bobcats from Lincoln as an academic transfer, bringing focus, grit, and a real competitive spark to the mat. She may be new to the college level, but Mari has already shown she’s ready to work hard and make her mark. Her mother, Guillermina Goitia, and brothers, Fransisco Baeza and Ibrahim Almguier, have been her biggest supporters every step of the way.
