Biography

Freshman Laila Cuevas comes from Norfolk, Nebraska, where she built an impressive high school career as a three-time state qualifier and 2025 4th-place medalist. Known for her determination and competitive spirit, Laila brings intensity and focus to every match, quickly making her presence felt on the mat.

She is pursuing an Academic Transfer and credits her parents, Tikisha and Lucio Cuevas, and siblings Yessenia, Tony, Paco, Lucio, Victor, and Ocean Cuevas for their unwavering support.
